Peruvia nature reserve
The Peruvia nature reserve is located in Suriname , in the Coronie district , in front of the Coppename estuary in the freshwater part of the coast.
The reserve was founded in 1986 and covers an area of approximately 310 km² . In the reserve there are a large number of Mauritia palm and sandbox tree forests; here have Gelbbrustaras their breeding and sleeping.
