Ethnic group office
The ethnic group office is a service point of the Carinthian provincial government for the concerns of the Carinthian Slovenes . It was founded in 1990 to give the Slovene ethnic group better access to the state administration . It is organized as a subdivision in the governor's department . His tasks are mainly in the administrative work with regard to the interests of the minority or Slovene-speaking citizens, the public relations work of the country in matters of minority groups and in the translation service.
