The elementary school Geidorf is located in the northeast of Graz and is the only elementary school in the district of the same name. As a special feature, the school has had a bilingual Croatian-German class since 2007 .
history
The building at Muchargasse 23 was built in 1866 and expanded in 1876. These dates are recorded on a plaque in the entrance area of the elementary school.
Until it was merged with the Graben elementary school, it was called the Muchar elementary school .
Educational offer
The school consists of 13 classes and offers afternoon care for the children. Since 2012, one class per year has been run as an interlaced all-day form. Another class is bilingual Croatian-German. As an additional offer for leisure hours, external speakers from the fields of sport, music and theater are invited.
At the school, students from the Styrian University of Education and the Church of the University of Education in Graz also take part in lessons and experience authentic school practice.

The Geidorf elementary school building is located in Muchargasse, on the north side of the Graz Schlossberg. Due to the central inner-city location and the connection to the trams 4 and 5 at the station "Lange Gasse", the school is easy to reach.
