Volkssiegkanal
The People's Victory Channel ( Chinese 人民胜利渠 ; Pinyin :. Rénmín Shengli Qu; English People's Victory Canal ) is a 1951-52 erbauter channel on the lower Yellow River in the north of the province of Henan on the north bank of the river in the North Henan level ( 豫北 平原 Yùběi Píngyuán).
The canal begins in Qinchang Village 秦 厂 村 in Wuzhi County . 
It is the first major construction of an irrigation area since the founding of the People's Republic of China . The area of the Volkssiegkanal irrigation area ( 人民 胜利 渠 灌区 Rénmín Shènglì Qú guànqū) is 1,486 square kilometers.
