2009 Men's Volleyball Club World Championship

The 2009 Men's Volleyball Club World Championship was the fifth edition of this competition and took place from November 3rd to 8th, 2009 in Doha ( Qatar ).

Attendees

Eight club teams took part in this tournament. In addition to the respective winners of the five continental championship competitions at club level, the champions of the host country and two wild card teams at the invitation of the FIVB were also eligible to participate .

•  Paykan Tehran VC as winner of the Asian Club Championship 2009
•  Plataneros de Corozal as representative of NORCECA
•  Cimed Florianópolis as the winner of the South American Club Championship 2009.
•  Trentino BetClic as the winner of the European Champions League 2008/09
•  VK Zenit-Kazan as a wild card team (1st place on the CEV club ranking)
•  Skra Bełchatów as a wild card team (2nd place on the CEV club ranking)
