Vonavona is an island in the New Georgia Archipelago in the Western Province of the Island Republic of the Solomon Islands . It is also called Parara Island and is almost completely forested. There are numerous villages along the coast, especially in the north-west and south-east.
The island reaches a height of 106 meters near the north coast.
