Voodoo Rhythm Records (LC 07683) is a Swiss record label, founded in 1992 by the Bernese musician Beat Zeller (aka Reverend Beat-Man , formerly Lightning Beat-Man ). Voodoo Rhythm Records specializes in rebellious music from the 1950s. The label was created in the environment of the psychobilly group The Monsters , which at the time tried unsuccessfully to sell their records. On extended tours, Zeller met like-minded musicians whom he signed. The catalog now includes bands from the genres of blues , folk , punk , rockabilly , garage rock , rock 'n' roll , surf , Cajun , etc.

Thanks primarily to the charismatic founder Beat Zeller, Voodoo Rhythm Records is now an important, internationally known underground music label. The bands under contract come from all over the world.

In 2007 Beat Zeller was awarded the recognition prize of the Canton of Bern for his work.

At the beginning of 2009 Beat Zeller went public with an appeal for donations. Because copyrights were not paid for through SUISA , but directly between the label and the artist, Voodoo Rhythm Records demands CHF 42,500. This demand brings the record label to the brink of ruin. Benefit events have been organized and donations are coming in from all over the world in Bern.
