Voravongse I. (full throne name Somdet Brhat-Anya Chao Brhatasena Vara Varman Raja Sri Sadhana Kanayudha ; * in the 16th century; † 1579 with Kaeng Chane together with his family) was king of Lan Chang between 1575 and 1579 .

Voravongse was appointed Somdet Brhat-Anya Chao Maha Uparat (“Viceroy”) in 1547 by his older brother, King Phra Nga Sen Sulintara Lusai . In 1564 he was held as a prisoner of war by the Burmese. After he returned to Laos, he came to the throne of Lan Chang in 1575 at the instigation of the Burmese to succeed his brother, who had been deported to Burma. After a revolt he had to flee in 1579 and drowned with his family at the Kaeng Chane Pass. After that Phra Nga Sen Sulintara Lusai put the Burmese back on the throne.
