The Voss Folkemuseum is an open-air museum in Voss , Fylke Vestland in Norway. It was founded in 1917 as a regional museum to preserve the historic Mølster farm and preserve Voss' cultural heritage. The museum is now part of the Hardanger and Voss Museum Foundation. It extends over three locations:

  • The main location and the only one with regular opening times is Mølstertunet . It is 1.5 km from Vigan (3.5 km by car). The museum consists of three farmsteads preserved in situ. The farm is very old and probably dates from the Viking Age. When it was first shared is unknown. In 1521 two owners are known. In 1917 the museum was able to acquire the part of Botolv Mølster's yard, and a few years later also the part of Arnfinn Mølster. The entire complex consists of 18 buildings: houses, storehouses, forges, smokehouse, etc. The oldest building is the fireplace, probably from the 1500s. The newest houses date from the 1880s.
