The Vulkanhaus in Strohn in the Vulkaneifel is an interactive museum that was opened in 2002 to illustrate volcanic phenomena.
General
In the museum there are walk-in adventure rooms, information boards and explanatory graphics and large photos of active volcanoes . A highlight of the museum and a geological monument of European importance is the approx. 12,000 year old, six meter long and four meter high lava fissure wall.
