Vuokatti is a Finnish town in the Kainuu region and belongs to the municipality of Sotkamo . It is believed that Vuokatti was an ancient Sami sacrificial site .

In Vuokatti there is an important sports park with a covered cross-country skiing tunnel for summer training and an alpine ski center (the highest point, Porttivaara, is 345 meters above sea level). The Hyppyrimäki is a normal hill built in 1947 and serves as a training center for the Vuokattisport Association after the ski jumping competitions of the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1992 and the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival in 2001 were held here.

The orienteering world championships 2013 were held around Vuokatti from July 6th to 14th .
