Vuolijoki [ ˈvuɔlijɔki ] is a place and a former municipality in northeastern Finland. It was incorporated into the city of Kajaani in 2007 . In Vuolijoki there is a stone church in the style of national romanticism, completed in 1906 according to plans by Josef Stenbäck .
