Wünschdirwas is the second studio album by the Berlin rapper Teesy . It was released on July 15, 2016 on the Chimperator Productions label . Among other things, Cro is represented on the album with two guest contributions.
background
After the release of his previous album Glücksrezepte in 2014, which was the first commercial success of his career, he announced the release date of his new album on April 15, 2016. The track list was also published. The music video for the first single Jackpot was made available on YouTube on May 24th .
The Wünschdirwas tour was originally supposed to take place in October 2016, but has been postponed to February and March 2017.

The album received mixed reviews. This is how the online magazine Laut.de judges :
"Even with the successor to his lucky recipes, Teesy still digs deep into the kitsch box. [...] Even if melancholy gains the upper hand in the second half, "Wünschdirwas" is still an album for disguised Disney princesses and Sunday brunches. Nonetheless, Teesy took the hurdle of the second album with a good start and bravado and is taking big steps towards German pop Olympus. "
The hip-hop magazine Backspin sees the album from a positive point of view and writes among other things:
“ Wünschdirwas follows on from its predecessor almost seamlessly. So if you are expecting big surprises you will not necessarily be happy with the album, but fans of the previous projects will get their money's worth. "
And the reviewer Lasse Golenia from the portal rappers.in sums up:
“Teesy is not just a rapper who puts the text in the foreground in his tracks. No - the Chimperator-Signing is first and foremost a musician, so that you can do without the most complicated chain of rhymes as long as the desired effect occurs at the end. "
