Württemberg Automobile Club 1899

The Württemberg Automobile Club 1899 e. V. ( WAC ), based in Stuttgart , was founded in 1899 and is therefore the oldest existing automobile club in Germany. It has around 400 individual and corporate members, including all of the Württemberg automobile manufacturers and suppliers . The WAC has resided in a club-owned building at Mörikestrasse 30 in Stuttgart since it was founded.

The WAC was founded by Gottlieb Daimler , Robert Bosch and Wilhelm Maybach in Stuttgart in February 1899 and entered in the register of associations as the “Royal Automobile Club”.
