Weave ( spelling : WEAVE ) was a German web design magazine for developers and designers of interactive media . The magazine was a line extension of Page , a design , media and advertising magazine . In June 2009 the first edition of Weave was published as a supplement to the Page. Since September 2009, Weave has appeared every two months as a stand-alone publication.

The layout of the Weave was developed by the Page team, which was expanded to include new employees. The editor-in-chief was Gabriele Günder, who had been responsible for the page since 1998. There were permanent editors and freelance writers from practice.

The name Weave was chosen because the magazine claims to build a bridge between clients , designers and programmers . In addition to design issues, technical aspects also played a role. There was no cover story, instead a broad spectrum of topics was reported in the sections “Feed”, “Trends”, “Projects”, “Tutorials”, “Tools” and “Life”.

Supplementary source codes , audio and video files for the magazine were made available on the Weave website. The website should gradually be expanded into an information platform and has also been integrated into the online presence of PAGE.

In May 2014 it was announced that Weave will no longer appear as a separate magazine and that the content will be reintegrated into the page. The last issue was 02/2014.
