WE WISH (World Environmental Watching & Investigation from Space Height) was an earth observation and amateur radio satellite that was built by employees of Meisei Denki KK ( 明星 電 気 株式会社 , English Meisei Electric Co., Ltd. ).

Mission and Payload

WE WISH was launched on July 21, 2012 in HTV-3 from the Tanegashima Space Center and brought to the International Space Station ISS . From there it was released into space on October 4, 2012, together with the four other CubeSats RAIKO , TechEdSat , FITSAT-1 and F-1 .

The main mission was an infrared camera , the images of which were sent to earth as an SSTV signal. In addition, the satellite transmitted in Morse code , AX.25 and in the 70 cm band . The callsign was JQ1ZJ.

The re-entry took place on March 11, 2013.
