The WKG Kriegsmarine Gotenhafen was a football club in the German Empire with its headquarters in what is now the Polish port city of Gdynia .
history
The WKG entered in the 1944/45 season in the Gauliga Danzig-West Prussia within the Gau class Staffel II Gotenhafen . There, the game operation was then canceled in January 1945. At this point, the WKG had played six games and was in fourth place in the table with 3: 9 points. The second team started in the same season in the 1st class Danzig-West Prussia within the district group Sopot / Gotenhafen as a newcomer. However, this team only played a total of four games, which means that they can be found in fifth place in the table with 2: 6 points.
With the surrender of the German Reich at the end of World War II , Danzig-West Prussia was placed under Polish administration. The association was then also dissolved.
