WPRR ("Public Reality Radio") is a public radio station in Grand Rapids , Michigan with a News & Talk program. The station broadcasts on medium wave 1680 kHz. The VHF signal is also transmitted in Grand Rapids by means of a converter.
Public Reality Radio
Today's "Public Reality Radio" was created on September 22, 2008. Since then, broadcasts of the Pacifica Radio Network with programs from Thom Hartmann and others have been taken over.
The aim of the program is to bring education to the widest possible range of audiences with an intelligent and challenging program. Subjects from all areas from philosophy to science, politics and religion are to be dealt with with a wide range of opinions.
A small network of transmitters has emerged from WPRR. In West Michigan, WPRR-FM broadcasts on 90.1 MHz and with a repeater also in Pontiac on 95.3 MHz. WPJC transmits the program on FM 88.3 MHz.
