Wagner House , also known as Kostel House , is a historic building in the small town of Wagner in Charles Mix County , South Dakota . It has been on the National Register of Historic Places as of November 19, 2007 .
The house, designed in the style of the American Arts and Crafts Movement with decorative masonry, was built from 1917 to 1919. The front facade is oriented to the east. The two-story Wagner House, made of bricks, has a gable roof made of wood shingles and two centrally located chimneys. Inside, the floor plan still corresponds to the original, the same applies to the parquet floor and the oak stairs.
