Sunday questions archive

The site has an archive of Sunday questions from the largest German polling institutes , dating back to around 1994. This includes surveys at both federal and state level. In addition to the proportions of the parties, Wahlrecht.de also provides information about the survey period, the number of respondents and the client. German polling institutes sometimes refer to Wahlrecht.de as a publicly accessible data source for requests for data on their Sunday questions. The institutes generally do not publish raw data. The data are used for political science and election sociological studies. In order to check the quality of the database, Jochen Groß compared random samples of the data from Wahlrecht.de with the media publications of the surveys. The samples were scattered over the years and institutes. Groß found no deviations. The data from Wahlrecht.de are used by Spiegel Online to display the course of the Sunday questions.

These events are not only displayed, but usually also commented on. The website also archives the official final results of past elections.
