Orphan Lee

Orphan Lee Chi-hung (born December 19, 1959 in Hong Kong ) is a Chinese film and television actor who is best known for his portrayals and roles as a villain.

Life

Orphan Lee was a student and a graduate of TVB, whose school he finished in 1982. He comes from a group with well-known actors like Tony Leung Chiu-Wai and Francis Ng . He became famous as the antagonist Tam Shing alongside Chow Yun Fat, Leslie Cheung and Ti Lung in John Woo's gangster film A Better Tomorrow , which was also very successful in the West. Since then, Lee has appeared in a variety of genre films, including the fantasy film A Chinese Ghost Story II (1990), To Be Number One (1991) and Powerful Four (1992). He also starred in The Big Heat (1988), Bullet in the Head (1990) and The Cat (1992).

On television he starred in popular TVB series such as Mind Our Own Business (1993), Cold Blood Warm Heart (1996), Burning Flame (1998) and A Step into the Past (2001), which became a huge success in their homeland .

Private

Lee is married to actress Wang Yaqi, who is of Hui Chinese descent.
