Waisenhausstrasse 22 (Mönchengladbach)
The building Waisenhausstraße 22 is in the district of Rheydt in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).
The former orphanage and old people's home of the Catholic parish of St. Marien was built in 1899–1901 and entered on February 5, 1990 under No. W 026 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .
The building is a three-storey, eaves-side structure with five axes , which stands between two vertical transepts pushed onto the gable ends. The property is an indispensable part of the ensemble as well as of the architecture that characterizes the street and is therefore worth protecting as a monument.
