Waldemar Roger

Waldemar Roger , also Waldemar Ronger , († 1958 ) was a German film producer.

Life

Roger only appears once in film history: in 1929 when he founded Deutsch-Film-Produktion .

He bought the rights to the film Nosferatu - A Symphony of Horror from producer Albin Grau and edited the sound film version The Twelfth Hour - A Night of Horror from it .

Editing material from the classic that Murnau did not use was also incorporated into the film. In addition, he shot scenes again, e.g. B. a funeral mass with Hans Behal as a priest.

Waldemar Roger died in 1958 in southern Germany on the Austrian border.
