Waldemar Schönleiter

Waldemar Schönleiter (* 1903 ; † 1978 ) was a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official.

Career

Schönleiter received his doctorate in 1930 from the University of Halle . From 1933 to 1935 he worked for the commissioner for Osthilfe in Rostock. In 1935 he switched to the supreme construction management of the Reichsautobahn in Halle (Saale). From 1936 to 1938 he was at the pension office in Frankfurt / Main and at the main pension office in Southwest Germany, then from 1938 to 1942 at the Reich Supply Court in Berlin and from 1942 to 1945 in the Reich Ministry of Labor .

After the end of the Second World War, he continued his professional career from 1945 at the Verden pension office and the Lower Saxony main pension office. From 1947 to 1948 he worked in the Central Budget Office and Central Labor Office in the British Zone and, after the creation of the Bizone, from 1948 to 1950 in the Labor Administration of the United Economic Area .

In 1950 he moved to the Federal Ministry of Labor (BMA). From 1950 to 1962 he was head of sub-division IV b and (from 1955) V a ( war victims' pension ). From 1950 to 1954 he was also head of Section IV b 1 ( General Section for the regulation of benefits for war invalids and survivors as well as the organization of war victims' provisions, intergovernmental agreements ). From 1955 to 1968 he was Head of Department V ( War Victims Care, Social and Occupational Medicine ).

In 1968 he retired with the rank of Ministerial Director.
