Wali (also Waali , Wala , Ala , Ouala ) is a Ghanaian language with approx. 138,000 speakers (2003) in the northwest of Ghana .
Wali is the language of the Wala . The center of the language is Wa .
The Chakali people usually speak Wali as a second language.
Recognized dialects are Fufula, Yeri Waali, Cherii, Bulengee and Dolimi. Wali is different from Birifor and Dagaare .
