Walkyriengrund
The Walkyriengrund before Grömitz with a water depth of up to 6.8 m the biggest shoal in the otherwise approximately 18-24 m deep Bay of Lübeck . It is an important area for boat angling and angling tourism in the region. The fishing for cod , sea trout and garfish is particularly good. The area is also important for commercial fishing. The Walkyriengrund is an important conservation and regeneration area for endangered species and is protected as a fauna-flora-habitat area "DE-1832-322Walkyriengrund" .
