Wallace Leandro de Souza (born June 26, 1987 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

De Souza started his career at Santander Banespa-SP . He later played for Vôlei Futuro . In 2007 the diagonal attacker won the World Cup in Morocco with the Brazilian juniors . In 2009 he moved to Sada Cruzeiro Vôlei . His new club finished fourth in Brazil with de Souza in their first season and the diagonal attacker was the second best scorer in the league. In 2010 he made his debut in the senior national team . The following season, Sada Cruzeiro was runner-up. With the national team he won the volleyball tournament at the Pan American Games . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , he won the silver medal with Brazil.
