history

In 1932 Walter Bösch founded the company Walter Bösch, Maschinen und Apparate in Lustenau. After the Second World War, the company was rebuilt and became involved in the heating technology sector. In 1951 the business area was expanded to include cleaning equipment and agents. In the 50s and 60s the company expanded and opened branches in Innsbruck (1951), Vienna (1959), Salzburg and Linz (1960), Graz (1961) and Klagenfurt (1966). Three years later, in 1969, business operations are expanded to include the air conditioning division . In 1983 Walter Bösch AG was founded in Winterthur (Switzerland) and a few years later in 1991 the subsidiary Bösch spol sro in Brno (Czech Republic). The company has been operating under the new umbrella brand bösch since 2004 .
