Walter Bloet
Sir Walter Bloet († before 1199) was an Anglo-Norman knight.
Walter Bloet came from the Bloet family , a lower nobility family with estates in south west England and the Welsh Marches . He was a younger son of Ralph Bloet († around 1157). Like his older brother Ralph Bloet , he supported his liege lord Richard de Clare, Lord of Striguil, in the conquest of the Irish Leinster . However, he received no share in the conquered areas, but from Clare the southeast Welsh raglan. He or his heirs began building Raglan Castle . His descendants were lords of Raglan Castle until the late 14th century.
