Walter Cáceres

Walter Adrián Cáceres (born December 2, 1975 in Monte Grande ) is an Argentine football player .

The goalkeeper began his career with the Racing Club . At the Copa Libertadores 1997 he reached the semifinals with Racing. In 1999 the club took part in the Copa Mercosur but did not get beyond the group stage. In 2001 Cáceres moved to Nueva Chicago . In November he was tested positive for ephedrine in a doping control and then banned for three months.

In 2002, Cáceres played at Real Sociedad de Zacatecas in Mexico. In 2003 he moved back to Argentina, first to CA Colón . After that he was only with second and third division clubs , with Deportivo Laferrere and from 2006 to 2008 with Club Atlético Estudiantes . Then he went to Los Andes and in 2011 Barracas Central .
