Walter Fischer (politician, 1932)

Walter Fischer (born May 25, 1932 in Kleschwitz , Wohlau district / Lower Silesia) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Walter Fischer did an agricultural apprenticeship after attending elementary school and high school. He then studied at the Institute for Vocational School Teacher Training and from 1960 to 1965 at the Universities of Leipzig and Halle Agriculture and graduated as a qualified farmer. From 1952 he worked as a vocational and technical school teacher and as a teacher at general schools.

Walter Fischer, who is of the Protestant denomination, is married and has one daughter.

Walter Fischer joined the SDP in February 1990 after the fall of the Wall . In the first state election in Saxony-Anhalt in 1990, he was elected to the state parliament via the state list.
