Walter Jetz

Walter Jetz (* 1973 ) is a German biologist and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Yale University .

Life

Walter Jetz studied biology at the University of Würzburg up to his intermediate diploma in 1996 and graduated with an M.Sc. in Integrative Bioscience at the University of Oxford in 1997. He then obtained his PhD there from 1997 to 2001. Zoology with a thesis on Biodiversity of African birds at PH Harvey FRS.

He has been an Associate Professor at Yale since July 2009 .
