Walter Meneses is a former Costa Rican football player at the position of the striker .

Life

After a season for Puebla (1944/45) Meneses was two years in the service of the UD Moctezuma , with which he won both the Mexican Cup and the Supercup in 1947 . He then moved to city rivals A.DO , where he was under contract until his financially-related withdrawal from the Primera División in 1949. With a total of 32 goals, which he scored in these two seasons, he became the best striker in the ADO's first division history, alongside Peruvian Tulio Quiñones , who scored at least 29 goals in the same period. The successful storm duo scored around half of all 124 goals that ADO scored in these two years and contributed significantly to ADO no longer being in the lower table as in previous years.

In the next seasons Meneses was under contract for one season each with Club Asturias (1949/50), his former club Puebla FC (1950/51) and Club Marte (1951/52).
