Walter Pelletier

Walter GC Pelletier (born July 9, 1900 in Nuremberg ; † April 23, 1982 ) was a German entrepreneur.

Life

Pelletier was the son of the businessman Carl Pelletier and Paula Pelletier, nee. Sink. After studying economics and political science in Munich and Erlangen and gaining his doctorate in 1922, Pelletier worked for the M. Harbauer bank in Nuremberg until 1926 (legal counsel from 1923). He then worked for the Großeinkaufsverband Nürnberger Bund eGmbH Nürnberg / Essen / Berlin from 1929 as finance director, in 1930 second member of the board and from 1934 as general director. From 1939 to 1945 he did his military service and received several war awards.

After the Second World War, he was managing director of the regional association of cooperative wholesale and foreign trade in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1948 to 1949. From 1949 until his retirement he was CEO of NORD-WEST Schuhwaren -kaufgenossenschaft eGmbH in Frankfurt am Main.
