Walter Pongs

Walter Pongs (born June 14, 1911 in Remscheid ; † 20th or 21st century) was a German concentration camp doctor . He was a dentist in Buchenwald concentration camp .

career

Pongs was born on June 14, 1911 in Remscheid. In 1941 he began working as a dentist in Buchenwald concentration camp, where he stayed until 1942. In November 1943 he joined the medical department of the 6th SS Mountain Division "North" . After the war ended in 1945 he ran a dental practice in Wiesbaden .
