Walter Stahlin
Walter Stählin (born June 29, 1956 , legal resident in Lachen ) is a Swiss entrepreneur and politician ( SVP ).
The trained truck mechanic founded Stählin Nutzfahrzeuge AG in Lachen in 1984 . From 1992 to 2000 he presided over the car trade association of the canton Schwyz.
From 1988 to 1998 Stählin was on the Cantonal Council of Schwyz. From 1994 to 2002 he was the local councilor and school president of Lachen. From July 1, 2004, he was in the Schwyz cantonal government , where he headed the education department, which was renamed the education department from July 1, 2008.
In the summer of 2015, Stählin announced his resignation from the Schwyz government council.
