Walter Stephens
Walter Stephens (born July 14, 1949 ) has been Charles S. Singleton Professor of Italian Studies at Johns Hopkins University since 1999 . At the same time he heads the Villa Spelman , the center of this university for Italian studies in Florence .
Stephens research focuses on medieval and Renaissance - literature of Italy . Among other things, he published a highly regarded article on witch research Demon Lovers (2002).
