The Wamdue Project was an American electronic project consisting of Chris Brann , Chris Clark ("Deep C") and Chris Udoh.

background

The dance musicians worked together from 1994. Together with Detroit techno producer Kelli Hand , they produced for labels such as Peacefrog and Studio K7 and called themselves alternately Wambonix, Wamdue Kids or Wamdue Project. Wamdue Project were also active in other music genres: Deep House , Drum and Bass , Dub and R 'n' B .

In 1998 they had a dance hit in the US with Where Do We Go . Their biggest hit was but the single King of My Castle , as House - Remix was an international success of Roy Malone and 1999 even a number-one hit in the UK was. Gaelle Adisson acted as singer. The music video was made scenes of the anime film Ghost in the Shell cut together. With the successor single You're the Reason they were able to benefit from the success of the hit, further chart placements failed to materialize.

After 2000 Chris Brann devoted himself to other projects (P'Taah, Ananda Project), but he could not build on the success of the Wamdue Project.

In 2007 a progressive remix by Sander van Doorn was released .
