A concert is a concert in which the audience moves between the individual performances or instruments or sound carriers .

This form of the concert is v. a. Maintained in museums and similar institutions in which the instruments are in fixed places so that the visitors have to change location when a new instrument is to sound. Popular are z. B. the walking concerts in Schloss Benrath , in the German Music Automat Museum in Schloss Bruchsal and within the summer event series "KlangArt" in the sculpture park Waldfrieden in Wuppertal .

Every year from the first to the third weekend in July, the "Altensteig Music Summer" takes place in Altensteig , which traditionally ends on the third weekend at 4 p.m. with a concert. The walking concert starts at the town hall in Altensteig and runs through the historic old town, over many steps and musical stops. The musical performances will end in the Evangelical City Church of the Flößerstadt.
