from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wang Hao ( Chinese  王 浩 , Pinyin Wáng Hào ; born November 28, 1966 ) is a Chinese table tennis player . He became team world champion in 1987.

Wang Hao was considered one of the world's best defenders in 1987. With the Chinese team he won the title at the 1987 World Cup in New Delhi.

In 1989, the TTC Simex Jülich signed Wang Hao for its Bundesliga team . Before the start of the season, he dislocated his right arm. After an operation, he started high-performance sport again in the middle of the 1989/90 season and found his way back to his old playing strength. In 1992 he said goodbye to Jülich ingloriously with some provocatively poor performances in the ETTU Cup towards Puerto Real (Spain), but returned to Jülich in 1994. In 1996 he moved to Bad Honnef.

In 1993 he was team runner-up with China. Then he took part in the 1995 World Cup.
