history

The coat of arms was designed by the Gautinger heraldist Heinz Bessling .

The wave cut in the coat of arms marks the canal of the Middle Isar, which runs through the district of Eitting. The former Hofmark Eitting of the Hochstift and the cathedral chapter of Freising is significant for the history of the municipality. This is symbolized by the crosier in the coat of arms and the color scheme in black, gold and red.

The boar head comes from the coat of arms of the noble von Ebersbeck family, who owned Eitting.

The Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior approved the use of the coat of arms by the municipality by resolution of March 13, 1967.
