The Ward of Clett is a mountain in the south of the island of Whalsay , part of the Scottish Shetlands , with a height of 119 meters it also marks its highest point. It is located about one and a half kilometers southeast of Symbister , the main town on the island. The town of Clate lies at its feet in the southwest , as well as two lakes in the north with the Bu Water and in the northeast with the Loch of Huxter . There is a trigonometric point on the summit , marked by a surveying pillar of the Vanessa type , as well as the structural remains of a radar station of the Chain Home Low from the time of the Second World War .
