Wareika is a band from Hamburg, which was founded in 2008 after Florian Schirmacher attended a concert by the Havana Boys (Henrik Raabe and Jakob Seidensticker) and the three musicians met for a jam session.
history
The band members Raabe and Seidensticker (Havana Boys), who made music together during their school days, met Florian Schirmacher in 2008. “We met Florian at a party in the old Mojo Club, the energy was right!” Schirmacher already worked with Guido Schneider on the Glowing Glisses project , which resulted in a series of releases including the album Silver Surfer; he produces the project Federleicht with Marc Bammann.
In the years 2008 to 2013 the band released four albums as well as several singles and EPs.
