Warfield Within is a death metal band from Mönchengladbach .
history
From 2002 to 2005 Sebastian Meisen and the brothers Thomas Felauer and Christian Felauer were active together in the band Khaosick. At the end of 2005, they separated from drummer Phillip Schmidt. In December 2005 they founded Warfield Within. A new drummer was found in Simon Heinen, who has also been active with the Bonn-based death metal band Jack Slater since 2009 . In February 2007 the German label Yonah Records became aware of the demo Worst Enemy . In the same year, the band strengthened with the former Jack Slater guitarist Spas. On March 26, 2010 the debut album Inner Bomb Exploding was released . The band has toured extensively in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium so far. In 2012, the former Jack Slater bassist Christian Neumann took over the bass. The band is currently working on a second album entitled "Bleeding Black Catharsis".

Musically, the band defines itself through a symbiosis of death and thrash metal . The lyrical content deals with personal stories, mental illness, religion, end-time scenarios or nihilism .
