Warmia Olsztyn (completely Kolejowy Klub Sportowy Warmia Olsztyn ) is a multi-disciplinary sports club from the Polish city of Olsztyn . The club achieved particular success in badminton and football .
history
The association was founded on July 15, 1945 as KKS Olsztyn. In 1949 the club was renamed ZS Kolejarz Olsztyn. On February 6, 1957, it was given its current name. Particular successes were achieved in badminton . From 1978 to 2006, the club started 25 times in the Polish first division. In football, the club was in the main round of the Polish Cup in the 1995/1996 season. Two seasons later they rose to the second Polish division.
