Filip Kurto (born June 14, 1991 in Olsztyn , Poland ) is a Polish football player who plays in the position of goalkeeper . He is under contract with Western United in the Australian A-League .
Career
society
Kurto was born in Olsztyn and started playing football there. At a young age he played for several local clubs such as Naki Olsztyn , OKS Stomil Olsztyn , Warmia Olsztyn and Promien Opalenica . In 2009 he moved to Wisła Krakow's youth . Here he shows good performances in the youth league Młoda Ekstraklasa (ME) , so that he was quickly appointed to the first team. He accepted an offer from the Netherlands in the summer of 2012 and moved to Roda Kerkrade , where he was a regular goalkeeper for two years. After these two years he joined FC Dordrecht , where he quickly became a regular goalkeeper. However, he could not prevent the relegation of FC Dordrecht. For the 2015/16 season he moved to Excelsior Rotterdam , where he signed a two-year contract. He returned to Roda Kerkrade in summer 2017, but then moved to the Australian A-League for New Zealand team Wellington Phoenix in summer 2018 . He was named best goalkeeper for the 2018/2019 season , but switched to the new A-League franchise Western United after the season .

So far he has played for the Polish U-18, U-19, U-20 and U-21 .
