Warm wax

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Warm wax are special wax mixtures that can be used to epilate body hair when heated . Warm wax can also be used for Brazilian waxing .

application

The classic warm wax application can be carried out in appropriate studios as well as at home. At the beginning, the warm wax must be melted. The liquefied warm wax is applied to the previously cleaned areas of the skin at a suitable temperature. This is often done either using an applicator (usually a small spatula) or electrical roll-on devices. In the first variant, appropriate aids for later removal of the wax, which are usually enclosed with the warm wax packs, are to be placed on the still warm wax. They consist of, for example, paper or cotton strips. After a short waiting or cooling phase, the wax is removed abruptly against the direction of hair growth using the strips. This tears out the hair, as it were. The advantage of shaving is that the skin stays smooth for a long time without stubble. As with all temporary epilation procedures, the use of warm wax is sometimes described as painful. However, the pain usually decreases with the number of applications.
