Condition assessment and assessment

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The recording and evaluation of the condition of road damage enables financial requirements planning.

The condition recording and assessment ( ZEB for short ) is an officially established examination procedure for public roads in Germany to determine the quality of the road network and the associated maintenance costs. It is used by the road construction company and provides the utility value of a road. Using visual or metrological condition recording, among other things, condition features such as road damage , longitudinal and transverse unevenness , grip and road drainage are examined.

After completing the condition assessment, the condition assessment of the road begins. For this purpose, an evaluation key is used that ranges from status value 1 (very good status) to status value 5 (very poor status).

The following status values are distinguished within this classification:

  • Target value or acceptance value (condition value 1.5)
  • Warning value (status value 3.5)
  • Threshold value (condition value 4.5)
