Warsheikh (also Uarsheikh , Warshiikh , Warsheekh or Warshek written) is a place in the region of Middle Shebelle in Somalia . It is located on the coast and has about 3,500 inhabitants. In the 19th century it was owned by the Sultanate of Zanzibar .
