Warwick Croft is a villa in the Scottish town of Lenzie in East Dunbartonshire . In 1977 the building was included in the Scottish Monuments List in the highest category A.

description

The villa is a late building by the well-known architect Alexander Thomson . It was created around 1875, and could therefore possibly have been created after Thomson's death in that year. The building shows typical features of Thomson's architecture, who incorporated strong Mediterranean, especially Greek motifs into his designs. The villa is located in southwest Lenzie at the intersection of Heriot Road and Alexandra Road. It consists of two parts of the building that meet at right angles and form a unit. The part of the building that runs parallel to Heriot Road is two-story and consists of polished ashlar stones. It ends with hip and gable roofs . Single storey enters a number rounded to the right side bow window out. Two other windows on this facade are decorated with blind pillars. Another opening can be found in the second part of the building along Alexandra Road. At 27 Victoria Road, there is another listed Thomsons villa just a few hundred meters away.
